Who are we

The Pine Ridge Garden Club became a Charter Member of the Ontario Horticultural Association in 1977.
Mrs. Frances Newton was instrumental in forming the club and was its first elected president. In March of 2007, the club celebrated its 30th Anniversary with many of the founding members attending.

Club members participate in civic beautification programs throughout Scugog. These volunteers have been planting the garden at Nestleton Hall since 1979 and the two flowerbeds at Port Perry Hospital (Lakeridge Health Corporation) for more than 15 years. Pine Ridge Garden Club has also made donations to other gardens such as Reflection Park and Serenity Gardens at Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre.
