Club members participate in civic beautification programs throughout Scugog. These volunteers have been planting the garden at Nestleton Hall since 1979 and the two flowerbeds at Port Perry Hospital (Lakeridge Health Corporation) for more than 15 years. Pine Ridge Garden Club has also made donations to other gardens such as Reflection Park and Serenity Gardens at Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre. Club membership continues to grow and diversify.

Ever since 2003, Pine Ridge Garden Club has co-hosted the Scugog Spring Garden Show with the Township of Scugog. This 2-day show offers visitors interesting speakers, daily workshops, and a variety of vendors. The proceeds are shared equally between Garden Club and Township.

The Club’s share is used for horticultural and beautification projects. The success of this show is only possible through the hard work of its many talented volunteers. Since 2006, volunteers oraganized a Spring Plant & Bake Sale at the beginning of June.
